KIH April 2020 Update

KIHC Family,

I truly hope everyone is healthy and well. Never meant that more in my life! I know these times are very trying and difficult but I want to give everyone an update on hockey as it stands today and where we are as organization.

Nationally, USAH has shut down every event until further notice. Club tryouts are suspended indefinitely for the 2020-21 season. Obviously local facilities are also indefinitely closed. I honestly do not see anything happening until June.

As an organization, we need to follow suit on what is dictated to us by the higher authority, and rightly so. Having said that, Spring is usually a very busy season or us. Right now registration for the 2020-21 KIHC season is on hold until further notice. As soon as we feel it is right we will open it up. Note-As of April 1st you can register for the USAH 2020-21 season (might as well get that done now). Beginners clinic will most likely be held in early Summer on Sunday mornings. Our School Summer skates are still on schedule to start in late June for the Middle/High School group (Current 4th-11th graders) on Wednesday evenings. The High School banquet and Elementary/Middle school team pizza parties are on hold until further notice and most likely will be held during the Summer as well. Our Golf Outing Fundraiser is scheduled for June 13th at Woodstown County Club and as of right now we are hoping we can go on that date. PLEASE line up sponsors and foursomes for the outing. Once it looks ok I will open up the registration on our website for the golf outing. If we need to push this event to later Summer, we will.

Well, that is most of our Spring events. Please stay safe and hopefully this outbreak will start to diminish soon. Please let me know if you have any questions.
